Your pre-registration must be postmarked by this date in order to qualify for pre-registration rate ($50.00).

1:00pm to 4:00pm

Seminar: Taolu (form) Judging.

Cost: This seminar is FREE  and will be held at the Clarion Suites Hotel meeting room.

NOTE: If you are not a certified USKSF judge/referee you must attend this seminar to be able to participate in the capacity of judge/referee at the Fifth USKSF North Regional Tournament.

Bridging Hands and Double Short Weapon Sparring Seminar

In this seminar Shifu Marty Goldberg (Watchful Dragon Kwoon) will prepare competitors of ANY STYLE (no previous experience necessary) to compete in the Bridging Hands and/or Double Short Weapon Sparring divisions at the 5th USKSF North Region Tournament. This seminar is designed to educate and make students explore their own martial arts system though the use of these techniques.

This seminar is FREE of charge

Location: Clarion Suites Hotel Conference Room

Time: 7:00pm - 8:30pm

Fifth USKSF North Region Tournament

  • 8:00am - Late Registration and Pre-registration check-in begins (until 10:00am)
  • 9:00am - Doors open
  • 9:20am - Introduction of Honorary Guests, Officials and Judges
  • 9:30am - Opening Ceremonies, playing of National anthem, Opening Address, Remarks by Guest Speakers followed by Lion Dance and Masters demonstrations
  • 10:00am - Registration CLOSES
  • 10:15am - Taolu (forms)Competition begins
  • 10:15am - Internal events begin
  • 12:00pm - Contact Divisions begin
  • 3:00pm - Lei Tai rules explanation for competitors and spectators
  • 4:00pm - Lei Tai competition begins
  • 7:30pm - Closing Ceremonies (approx.)

PLEASE NOTE:

The schedule may change without prior notice.

There will be breaks in the competition in the different rings (at different times) to allow judges to rest and "reset" themselves, this is one of the measures that we will take to maintain the quality in judging.

Closing ceremonies time will depend on amount of competitors and divisions that will run on the day of the event.
